TXC Launches Industry Leading ppt Level Temperature Stability in Miniature Package, ThermSymChronos Series

TXC has released a new version of ThermSym OCXO product, ThermSymChronos series, an ultra-stable solution with ppt level stability over temperature in miniature package that offers the excellent reference clock to support stratum 3E level for timing synchronization in 5G network infrastructure, including Radio Heads, Active Antenna Unit (AAU), Small Cells, Distribute Units (DUs), Centralized Units (CUs), Base stations, Core Network, Advanced Switch, Advanced Router and Internet Data Center (IDC), etc. On the basis of ThermSym OCXO product as shown in Fig. 1, ThermSymChronos series is equipped with new generation chip using advanced oven control technology as shown in Fig. 2 to achieve excellent performance as shown in Table 1 and completely fulfill the requirements of stratum 3E standard.

With the substantial growth of mobile network data traffic, the timing synchronization in development of 5G network infrastructure as shown in Fig. 3 is also considered selecting the right clocks to assist high speed data transmission that requires higher network bandwidth and lower latencies. ThermSymChronos series can absolutely support the excellent timing solution performance of less than ±1 ppb stability over temperature as shown in Fig. 4 to meet timing synchronization standard related to stratum 3E level and holdover requirement.
