Introducing the Xterniti Platform™: Redefining Precision Timing for Synchronization

We are excited to unveil our latest achievement in precision timing technology - the Xterniti PlatformTM. This revolutionary advancement is meticulously engineered to address the increasingly demands of telecommunications networks with uncompromising reliability and performance – extending the holdover performance.

 

Key Features of the Xterniti PlatformTM:

 

Extended Holdover Performance:
At the heart of the Xterniti PlatformTM lies our proprietary Extended Holdover OCXO technology, setting new standards for uninterrupted precision timing. The XternitiTM OCXO with ”thermal hysteresis”, temperature and aging error compensation enables a “stratum 3 level OCXO” in a miniature package to achieve longer than 24 hours of phase holdover in a constant temperature and 8~24 hours in a dynamic real world temperature conditions by using a IEEE 1588 available synchronizer and a network processor. With holdover performance exceeding 24 hours, this innovation provides specifically to customers with strict Precision Time Protocol (PTP) requirements, ensuring accuracy even amidst network disruptions or GPS signal loss.

Cost-Effective and Miniature Solution:
Traditional 24-hour OCXOs have been demonstrated by 1PPS GPS Disciplined OCXO with aging compensation and Stratum 2 OCXO with its ultra-high stability and aging performance. Those traditional OCXOs are large package with discrete circuitry, power-hungry, unable to process thermal hysteresis compensation, and higher cost. The Xterniti PlatformTM boasts compact design in a small form factor which blends seamlessly into diverse synchronization applications. These features make it an ideal choice for applications ranging from O-RAN, small cells, advanced telecommunications, to Datacenters.

Built to endure the real-world operation, the Xterniti PlatformTM is synonymous with unwavering reliability. Using ThermSym patented technology with excellent thermal performance and better reliability compared to the solution that uses the embedded heater in the IC. Engineered to withstand adverse environmental conditions and rigorous usage, ensuring consistent performance throughout its lifecycle.

 

Seamless Integration:
The Xterniti PlatformTM integrates with existing synchronization functionality, using TXC’s own algorism on hysteresis compensation or co-worked IDHs algorism, easily embedded in a network processor with IEEE1588 available synchronizer. Its compatibility seamlessly allows for swift adoption without compromising existing infrastructure investments.
