Chairman – Paul Lin

Graduated with MBA at US West Texas A&M University. He was the founder and the first chairman of the company and he also was a pioneer of Taiwan’s quartz crystal industry which has had working experience in the industry. He again assumed the post of chairman of the company in 2001. During his tenure, Lin led the company toward internationalization, closed the gap with major international companies in relevant quartz crystal technology and marketing, and strived for integration of Taiwan’s quartz crystal industry. Presently, he is the dircetor of Taiwan Quartz Crystal Industry Association, director of Taipei Electronic Components Suppliers' Association , director of the publicly-listed Tai Shing Electronics Components Corp, chairman of Liang Xing Co.,Ltd, and director of uPI Semiconductor Corporation.

Director – William Hsu

Graduated from Kainan high School of Commerce and Industry. Hsu was the chairman of the company from 1993 to 2001 and the also director for quite a number of years. He is now the vice chairman of the company and concurrently the convener of the Overseas Investment Committee of the National Association of Small and Medium Enterprises of the R.O.C., the chairman of K&H MFG Co., Ltd., the chairman of Kowa Optics Corp. and the chairman of TXC International Development Corp and the supervisor of Tai Shing Electronics Components Corporation. He has been in the electronics-related field for over 30 years. During his tenure as the chairman TXC successfully went public and ushered in a new era.

Director – Peter Lin

Graduated from the Graduate School of Business Administration of National Taiwan University of Science and Technology. He was the vice chairman of the company from 1988 to 1993. He is now the general manager of the company and has over 20 years experience in the quartz crystal industry. During his tenure he has upgraded the industrial level of the company and the company is now advancing toward a global manufacturer and having a sustained growth in the operation scale of the company. He was the chairman of the 15th Council for Industrial and Commercial Development of the R.O.C. Presently, he is the concurrently chairman of Tai Shing Electronics Components Corp. and TXC Ningbo, the independent director of Ptotech System Corporation.

Director – Ge Tianzhong

Graduated from National Taipei Institute of Technology. He was sales vice president of the company from 1989 to 1996. Presently, he is the vice president of business development department of ESS Technology Inc. Mr. Ge worked in the electronics industry for almost 30 years and has specialized study and incisive statement about upper and lower stream interactions, business competition and sustainable operation.

Director - Chen Chueh Shang-Hsin

Master of Business Administration, Zhejiang University China, currently Director of Marketing TXC, General Manager TXC (Ningpo), and Chairman TXC (Chongqing), also Director of Tai Shing Electronics Components Corp. and Chairman of TSE Technology Co (Ningpo); specializes in the marketing and business development of electronic components.

Corporate Director - TLC Capital Co Ltd

TLC Capital is a reinvestment of the UMC Group, a team of management professionals and specialists formed TLC Capital, offering invested companies high value-added management services. TLC is a specialized venture capitalist firm. Currently, TLC Capital is the director of SIMPLO TECHNOLOGY Co Ltd.

Independent Director – Yu Shangwu

PhD Finance, British Birmingham University. Positions previously held: Professor, Information Management National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Professor and Dean of Information Science Tamking University of Science and Technology, Professor and Dean of Management and Language Yuanpei University. Currently, Dean College of Business Management Jinwen University of Science and Technology, Representative of Institutional Director First Financial Holding, Director of First Bank (legal person representative), and Director for Public Interest Taiwan Stock Exchange. Dr Yu is a senior researcher active in academia, specializing in corporate finance, banking and investment and investment decision making.

Independent Director – Tsai Songchi

PhD in Accounting, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Master’s Degree in Business Administration National Chengchi University Taiwan. Positions previously held: Vice President of KPMG Taiwan, Leader CPA for Taiwanese Business at KPMG in China, Project Leader for foreign businesses IPO at KPMG Taiwan and Legal Consultant for Taiwanese Businesses Straits Exchange Foundation. Current position: Chairman of EMCC Corporation. Dr Tsai specializes in cross-strait finance, banking and accounting and offers professional advice for cross-strait dealings in accounting related affairs.

Independent Director – Su Yan Syue

Graduated with MBA at Carnegie Mellon University, Ms. Su was the CIO of Pegatron Corporation, CIO of ASUSTeK Computer Inc., and Managing Director of UBS Taiwan. She is the director of Kinsus Interconnect Technology Corp., director of Datsunshi Venture Capital, director of eslite Foundation for Culture and Arts and Corporate Representative of Spotfilms Co., Ltd. Ms. Su is specialized in Corporate Finance and Investment and Industry Analysis.

Independent Director – Wang Chuan Fen

Graduated with LLM degree at Columbia University School of Law, Ms. Wang worked in Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP and Lin & Liu International Law Office. She is now the partner of Chen & Lin and leads the capital & M&A team. Her specialized legal areas include securities, corporate, M&A, anti-trust, E-commerce and investments and technical cooperation between Cross-Strait. Jennifer is experienced in cross-border and domestic M&A transactions with wide variety from merger, share swap, tender offer, stock purchase to asset and business acquisition. She also has extensive experiences in assisting the client for corporate restructuring, overseas and domestic IPO and fund raising, foreign investment application, establishment of R&D or training center in Taiwan, government cash grants application, joint venture and anti-trust compliance. She is also expert at designing, drafting and negotiating various kinds of commercial agreements and general corporate matters.
